whoami (?)

Hello internet. I'm Gustavo. I created this website from scratch, so that the photos I take, don't stay sitting inside folders in my computer collecting dust. This way, me and whoever stumbles upon this site can actually look at them.

A couple of years after moving from Brasil to the US, I started to taking an obscene amount of photos. I realized how nostalgically good looking at old photos made me feel, yet I was regretful for having taken more pictures of my life back then.

I decided I didn't want to feel that way again. And not so long after I became addicted.

I take pictures because I don't want to forget. I want to later on be able to see the things I saw, the places I've been, the people I've met, and be proud of it all. Nowadays, I try to also make them look pretty... that's the hard part.

But I'll keep trying...
